Is there anyone in California besides Me and Prehistoric producing albino retics and or albino tigers this year?

BrianSmith Feb 22, 2004 09:54 PM

Just curious. I know there are only a handfull of breeders/herpers even nation wide that have adult albino retics. Just wondering how many of those might be based in California.

Brian, its been a while since i've seen pics of your adult retics. Care to share some pics and size references of your breeders?

Hi Jeff,

I took some pictures of a bunch of my gravid females late last night (about 4 or 5 am) including the female retics, and then it took considerable time to load the pictures, turn the frames, etc. And then it took time to load the images into the ks photo gallery. (This is why I rarely do the pictures thing,.. it SO time consuming!) Anyhow,.... you won't believe what happened. It was like, SO ironic considering that the whole reason I was doing this with all the pictures was because of your request here for pics of my tics. I went to load the first of the female retics and a page flashed up saying that I already had a picture under that name (DCP.005) in my gallery. I couldn't believe it! So I went to my picture gallery to see which picture it was so I could simply delete it. No where could I find where those numbers are. So I had to spend an hour deleting ALL my old pictures from my gallery! So I get done and I go to load DCP.005 again. it was successful. I was ecstatic! So the page comes up with the picture on it. It's the old picture of my Ceylonese!! Man,. I was upset to say the least. So I tried to load the new pic again and again the ceylonese popped up. So I go to my files and RE-NAME the retic pic. Sounds simple, right? I go to load it and I get an ERROR page saying I can't load HTML files,. or something like that. I can't believe it. So for now, here is a pic of a 10 foot male lavender. I am going to try to copy and paste the picture URL somehow manually.

I tried to find and attach a URL of that original pic but I couldn't figure out how to do it without it being hosted. So I just went ahead and took a bunch more. Here is one of Bonita. She is my second biggest female retic. She's only 2 1/2 years old and is about 15 feet. I placed a standard light bulb next to her thinest part to lend scale. She bred with my tiger het albino. Her ovulation was small and I don't expect many eggs. I'll be happy if I get 20. I'll be REAL happy if it is more. lol.

Thank you. She's a lavender phase. It's SO hard to capture the ground colors of these beauties and she comes out looking almost white phase.
