uv bulb question

i use a 5.0 uv bulb in the long fixture,in a 30x16x16 i was woundering what other are there when it coms to uv lighting.
is it possible to buy uv bulbs at home depot? also what about this ESU Super UV Coil-Lamp in a dome would that work? does anyone know any way to save money in the lighting area? please share any suggestions.

I use the Capture the sun mercury bulbs from Big Apple. Someone here suggested them to me and they work really well. Lighting isn't really something you should try to save money on. It is important to your chams health. However if you check out the web sites you can usually find sales or discounts if you buy multiples. I bought the ESU Super UV (it was cheaper) it doesn't put out enough UVB. I ended up putting it on another lizard that doesn't require as much UVB. This however is my opinion and I am in no way an expert so you can take it for what it's worth.

There is a Combination UVA UVB bulb on the market that will screw into a common reflector lamp, they are a bit more expensive but are rated for a year instead of the usuall few months- after buying a flourecent fixture and replacing the bulb a few times in a year, this combo seems to be a deal in the long run. It gives off alot of heat too.
