...the pics that "larby" posted of his hybrids?
Is that why the posts are all gone?
Did I miss something?
Those were some great crosses.
So what rule got broken?

Same here............went to show them to a friend, and BAM...gone.
Lets riot..................get your torches............it's not fair !!!
Maybe they didn't like the fact that it was a "business" and they considered it advertising ?? I think there should at least be a forum for businesses to share pics other than the Classifieds.........
This is a guess on my part, so I could be wrong...
It seems to me that Larby's posts were really more "advertisement" than "sharing". When asked about his/her hybrids, this user would never discuss how they acheived them, and in general only seemed to be advertising. The animals were mostly pretty smashing, it is true. If you go to AAA reptiles (not sure of the actual link) you'll see all the pictures there in all their glory. But since they didn't seem to be taking part in actual discussion, I guess the moderators decided they were simply trying to sell their animals without taking out a classified account.
Anyway, that's my thought. I liked the animals too... especially that unreal striped king/pyro/milk, or whatevertheheck it was.

that is probably why her posts were deleted.
Bunnyhuggalamb did this once before about five months ago but got away with it. Check the archives, the posts were never deleted. The date was September 22nd or so if anyone wants to go back and see the ads.
Personally I think the moderator(s) made the right decision by deleting the posts. Bravo.

I'm not so upset with the blatant advertising as much as I was with the title on each posted photo. I hope that I'm fortunate enough to produce attractive animals like his someday. If I do I won't rub your nose in it with comments like "Eat your heart out!" PD

I have to agree with this. Maybe its just the scientist in me, but if I managed to "breed" something that looked really neat and that others were interested in, I'd post how I managed to do it, even if it were an "accident" or unexpected.
Rubbing it in people's noses isn't fair, or right. Its asking for trouble. (Just ask one of my ex-friends who bragged about his house full of expensive stuff, who got ripped off when he wasn't home one day!)

He/she/it could have posted those pics without putting the company logo all over them. Also, the statement he made at the end of the post seemed to be the antithesis of our hobby.
