IJCP laid her 1st Clutch

This was her first clutch. She laid 8 eggs but three were duds.

She started laying at 7 AM and was finished at 12PM. Unfortunately the first egg was small, narrow, pointed, and off white. I was worried that all would be infertile but was blessed with five good eggs.

The fertile eggs are very large. Her weight after laying was 621 grams. The total clutch weighed in at 285 grams. The duds weighed 48 grams and the good eggs weighed 237 grams. The averge weight per good egg was 47.4 grams.
