Yellow Fungus or mating scratches???

MonkeyLove Feb 23, 2004 02:59 PM

I have heard thing about yellow fungus and bearded dragons, and
the other day, I noticed these yellow patches on one of our female dragons I was misting them. There's one on her back and one on her head.

The single yellow scale on the top of her head has been there for as long as I can remember, but the other two larger patches I just noticed.

This girl is part of a 1:2 breeding group and it is her first year breeding. The male is very agressive when breeding. Could he have caused these marks? Could it be yellow fungus?

Thanks.

not a part of the coloration, you can actually wet YFD and scrap a gooey like substance off. When they shed, that area affected shed very different, like thicker and more moist.

I didn't think it looked like the pictures I'd seen of YF, but I wanted to se what others thought.
