Another newby...

hound1 Feb 23, 2004 03:01 PM

Hello all..another newby walks in.I have been lurking here for quite a while. I finally decided to post today. Again someone asked about keeping two veiled in one cage.....please for the last time DON"T. I had to spend several nights trying to get my male to eat and drink....he died. IS that good enough for all of you. Don't do it. Do love them and water them and feed them....don't handle them too much or pretend that they are social animals.....
Now on to happier stuff.....I have three Leopards that live happily together and keep me entertained all night.....a lovely veiled that hisses at me....but she is shedding every two weeks and growing like wildfire...she has a huge cage all to herself..home depot work bench plans converted to Cham house....7 feet tall....and the most intelligent and alert bearded dragon in the whole world....and one furry pet--my cat.
Thanks to all for the advice and the help...you didn't even know I was here....but you all helped.

Nice to hear from you after your lurking!

Your veiled sounds a lot like mine, very satanous indeed!
You sound like quite the herper to me, and I respect the amount of work you (hopefully) put into them.
As for me, i also have a furry one: a litlte black bunny
On top of that, i have a feathery (and another satanous one): a budgie that enjoys drawing blood from your fingers.
I used to have a fire-bellied toad but he ran away never to be seen, not even shrivelled up in a corner.

Nay way leep posting stuff and asking questions and answering them as well (if you know the answer of course)

I've been on this forum for quite some time. I don't post all that often, but I'm almost always around. I guess I feel that if I don't have something to add, then why post.
There's some REAL good information to be found in this forum. The only drawback is that this is a written forum, and we can't always decipher the little hidden messages in our communications. No way to tell voice fluctuations, or to read body langue, so sometimes the subtle messages in what we're saying is lost. Hope I didn't accomplish that now...
Anyways, welcome to the forum (or at least kudos to you for stepping out from behind the curtain to say hi), and hope you find this as fun and informative as I do!
