Anyone know of any good/consistant spots in the area of westchester on up through ulster county in NY? I've been searching for timbers and copperheads with no luck.Just keep turning up watersnakes and garters...Any suggestions would be much appreciated as i do not intend on disrupting these animals or their habitat.Thanks...

I was actually just in putnam county today..
if your familiar with fishkill ridge, there is a den above sour mine off route 9
my adventures were further north on the same rigde behind the old dutchess mall
supoopsabley there ar copperheads there
i also checked out turkey hill den, a copperhead spot off of route 6
on your way to monroe..
nuthin today except a few five lined skins, too late for den hunting i think
