I am trying it... but just wondering how long does it take the female to lay eggs and for the babies to hatch and how long for them to get to adulthood

It depends on a lot of things, but the females will lay when they are gravid and the eggs take about a week to hatch at 87 F. They will grow more quickly depending on the ambient temp and food source.
