Reptomin, beef heart, chicken heart and liver, fish, crawfish, frozen silversides (thawed of course), some turtles will eat veggies (I havent had any luck). You can also try nightcrawlers, crickets, superworms, and anoles and anything else that is available. We have a frog problem in our area, and when i find lil frogs hoppin around i catchem and feedem to my kids. They would take my finger if i offered it...

Coastal Carpet Python 0.1 (Lillith)
Albino Burm 0.1 (Kimba)
Columbian RedTail 0.1 (Squishy)
Kenyan Sand Boa 1.0 (Shai'hulud)
Common Snapping Turtle 1.1 (Sherman and Abrahms)
RES 1.0 (speedy)
He pretty much covered it. Any kind of cooked lean meat is also fine (not as a staple). You can also try aquatic plants. I had luck with Anacharis. I also found this recipe a while back that I used for my snapper and it worked great. He loved it. Heres a link to a page that as a good list of things to feed, including the recipe for the turtle food. Look under the
sub-title "Feeding".

Hey whats up, I'm Chris and I currently have 1.0 Softy, 0.0.1 Midland Painted, 1.0 Bearded Dragon
Am I the only one who feeds their snappers rodents? I've never understood the whole pieces of cooked meat thing. Carnivores need whole prey items IMO. With that here's what my snapper eats.
a small amount of reptomin occasionally
pinky mice fresh from the mother raised on lab-diet rodent chow
super mealworms gut-loaded on rodent chow
crickets gut-loaded on rodent chow
I've got lots of snakes sometimes babies die, he gets them sometimes too.
my roomate breeds bettas, sometimes they die
live minnows, guppies, frozen goldfish
ground skinks, frogs, snails, pill bugs, beetles etc. (in season)
greens have been offered but not accepted apparantly
Anyway, rodents form the staple. I don't see how you can make sure they are getting all the nutrients they need if you don't feed them a varied diet of whole prey items. Just my opinion.
