I would like to know about leaving mealworms out during the day. Is it a waste of mealies or a good practice? I want to give the best possible care to my leos. Also, how do you all get those nice, fat tails on your leos? Most of mine are eating, but one is a little shy. Thx!!! RR

i usually leave mealies in for a couple of days before pulling them. i try and give the gecko ample amt of time to eat them and try and have food at most of the time ( for juvi's and babies and preggo mamas) for some of my adults though i will leave the supers in for a day or so but pull all bugs for a day or two before offering feed again. growing babis and juvis will eat much more often the adults, so sometimes look at how much your gecko is eating and make the decision on a feeding routeen, but leaving mealies and supers in for a day or so wont hurt.. ya cant leave em in too long because they "lose" most of their gutloaded nutrition, hope this helps

Must have missed your first post...anyway
Leaving mealies in the cage for a day or two is a good practise in my opinion. What i do is feed supers daily, but i leave a bowl of mealies in there at night so if she gets hungry she can have a midnight snack Just make sure you monitor how many shes eating, so you know if something is wrong. Hope this helps,
MaC
