Skin Shed

I know that I just posted a message wondering if my turtle had a fungus, but after further observation I think he may just be shedding. I've witness shedding from turtles on a larger scale (like a 40-50lb alligator snapper) but never on such a small scale. The picture indicates where the semitrasparent - translucent "film" is occuring. It is on each side in the same area and a tiny bit on his back legs... am I paranoid for no reason... is he just shedding?

I THINK YOU PROBLY ARE JUST OVER-WORRYING. TURTLES DO SHED THEIR SKIN (AND THEIR SCUTES!) JUST LIKE OTHER REPTILES. IF YOU THINK THAT IT MAY BE A FUNGUS OR SOMETHING, YOU CAN ADD SOME AQUARIUM SALT TO THE WATER, AND/OR GET SOME BETADYNE AND TAKE A Q-TIP AND DAB IT ALL OVER HIS BODY AND SHELL EXCLUDING THE EYES OF COURSE, AND THEN PUT HIM IN A DRY PLACE UNTIL IT COMPLETELY DRIES, THEN RETURN HIM TO THE WATER.

Thanks. I probably am over worrying as this is my first turtle.
