I bought some Acidophiliz today, gave Ocho about 3-4 drops with his meds. I'm pretty sure this is the stuff I read about at reptilerooms.com. Is this the right stuff?
Also, is there anything I should do to prevent dehydration? He is still eating fine and is now on day 4 of his Albon treatment. He eats a lot of veggies, and I think he gets most of his liquid that way, because I've never see him drink from his bowl. All he does is stomp around in it. In fact I took out his water bowl during this treatments because the stone is very porous and hard to clean. He never drinks in the bathtub either, he hates the water and the best I can get him to do is soak. Should I just give him some extra water with the syringe, like I do the meds? Or is the soaking and water from the greens enough for now?
I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right. Coccidia and giardia at the same time must be pretty hard on the guy, even though he seems to be handling it pretty well for now.
