www.midwesttongs.com

The address is above, but I am computer stupid and don't know how to make it a link.

Look in the photo gallery, and check out the python with the huge gut. Then look at what is in it.

This is an old picture that has been floating around for a long time on the net. It has apparently been proven to be a hoax for a number of reasons. One, it appears the snakes innards have been removed prior to the man having his head inserted. Second, the previous photo with the pythons stomach full is probably a python with a large animal in it's belly, and the shape does not look like it would be a human (probably 4 legged animal). Third, even a very large retic or anaconda (this looks like a retic) would encounter a big obstacle in trying to eat a human: the shoulders. This is the main argument against the idea that any constrictor would be able to eat an adult man. A child, very possibly. But this pic does not show a child. The man in the pic presumably stuffed his head inside the disembowled python for a photo op. The story is said to have originated from Singapore, the Amazon (no retics there!), the Philipenes, and a list of other places, which further diminishes it's credibility...file this one as an urban myth/hoax.

When I was bit by a retic only 12 long I bruised badly and had 2 flat bottom V's on my arm. I couldn't see how this could happen without bodily damage, but I did know this was an old picture. Also I didn't think of the shape, but now that you pointed it out I agree with you.
