That's life. With most of our animals the babies turn out healthy but there are a couple every year that don't seem to make it. And sometimes the ones that you think won't make it do. And other times the ones you think are doing fine may die. That's mother nature and sometimes the way things work. Those are some sad pictures though. It's never fun to see a life that could have been.

Poor things =( thats so sad
but for some reason I find the pictures interesting... (Majoring in Bio/zoology at the moment)
In the developement of the babies, its amazing to see the size of the eyes compared to the other features at that time. Id be curious to know if there was a study on chameleon developement or similar lizards through the incubation process...
Does it say what species it was?
