Big Poo....

hades-raptor Jun 09, 2003 07:30 PM

Ive had my bearded dragon for about a year and a half now. He's always eaten great and always poo'ed great.

For about the past month or so though, his poop seems to have changed from being like normal poo.. little clumps, that look kind of long.. It's now VERY big clumps of poo, and always in a VERY oval shape.. Kind of looks like HUGE rabbit pellets. (they look big enough to hurt coming out -.- ) But he only does this once a week. He used to poo every other day or so, now it's only once a week..

I'm slightly worried? Dehydration? Possibly some sort of parasite? (I got some new snakes in a while back that had internal parasites.. they might have gotten to him despite the quarintine of the new snakes?)

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Just to mention. I haven't changed his diet (except for gradually giving him more as he gets bigger) or his cage set-up in a very long time. So everything is the same as it has been..
