Looks like the typical yellow you get outa the cabbage palms along 441 on the east side of the lake near Canal Point.
Actually it's not. I've collected that area many times. This specimen comes from a locality in N. Western St. Lucie county. This area has specimens which exhibit traits of typical yellows as well as "true Rossalleni" Although, the latter is rare due to intergration and habitat changes brought on by wetlands draining. This specimen has the orange background typical of Everglades however, it has the typically colored tongue and well defined stripes of the Yellows. The unusual part is that it also retains WELL defined blotches typical of the old "Dekart's" description. I'll get some better pics... That might be the problem. Not rare by any means just unusual...
