Breeding Supers....

pspguy Feb 24, 2004 10:28 AM

Can someone give me an URL or suggestion on the easiest way to breed my own superworms. I tried in the past, and they kept getting out of the tubs over the side and running through the house, so I'd love to hear some great ideas!

Fatten at least 50 up until they are all at least 2.5inches.then place them indidvidualy in small dark container. Check on them after 1 week. If they are the aliens keep them in there if they died through them out.1-2 weeks after becoming aliens they will becom beetles. When they becom beetles place all the beetles in a cage approximately 15 by 10. In the cage have 1-3 inches of oat/wheat bran baby carrots and some empty toilet paper rolls. After 2 weeks transfer the beetles to a different cage. Keep changing the beetles to seperate cages every 2 weeks. After you change the cages the beetles are in about 1-7 days later you will see baby supers.
