K, I have an 8'' Savannah... Have had experience with Leopard Geckos, Amevias, and a tegu. I have a couple questions..
1. Is Reptile Bark a suitable substrate?
2. Is a diet of entirely crickets or entirely mice [both dusted] okay?
3. If mice, one pinky-fuzzy a day?
4. If crickets, 5 - 6 a day?
5. If both, 5 -6 crickets everyother day, and a pinky-fuzzy on the other days okay?

Reptile bark is OK, but a dirt mix would be better (plenty of threads about substrate in this forum). As far as feedings go, feed the little guy all he will eat on a daily basis. If that means 5-6 crix twice daily, or one or two appropriate-sized rodents then go for it. Make sure you have a proper temp gradient (130 basking down to upper 70's for the cool end) and he should process all that food just fine. Also, since you're feeding whole prey items (hopefully gut-loaded crix) limit the dusting to only once or twice per week to avoid hypervitaminosis. Best of luck! Billy
