Teratoscincus help!!!!

geckoman_nl Feb 24, 2004 07:11 PM

Hello,
I bought a pair of keyserlingii from a breeder recently. The female was very thin and has not fed since I have had her, is there a way to get her to feed?

Also, the male has had 2 sheds whilst Ive had them, each time he has lots left on this feet and tail. Do I have to give him a moist box? I havnt got one in the moment as I thought they liked it VERY dry?????

Please help

You can make him stand on a wet towel for about 2 hours to get the current shed off. A humid hide would probably be a good idea, if they need it they'll probably use it.
I'm not sure what to tell you about the female, I've force fed geckos before but I don't feel safe telling other people they should do it. Are these CB or WC animals?

They are CB, Ive tried giving them something called Nutrigel, which was formerly known as jumpstart, its supposed to kick in their appetite.
