URGENT! HELP!

BCbrother Jun 09, 2003 08:50 PM

Hi there, In january I bought a female cornsake about 1.8 mts long, since I bought it it hasn`t been eating!(5 months..what tha!!) Once she killed a pinky mouse but she didn`t ate it, I called the guy that sold me the snake and he couldn't explain me exactly the reason why the snake hasn't eated, he told me that when he had the snake he had it in a tank with a male snake, is it posible that the snake stopped eating because she doesn't have the male snake around? I have been told a lot of posible reasons why my snake isn't eated.. but i'm not convinced! help!! the snake has lost a nice amount of weight!

There are lots of reasons a snake stops eating...temperature, security (or lack thereof), stress, parasites.

It's impossible to know which is causing your snake's problem with the information provided, but if it's losing a lot of weight, and you would expect a Corn Snake to after 5 months, you are running out of time.
