can the gecko climb a little, and slides down, or not at all?

the usual:
1. increase tank humidity
2. soak the feet (ive heard of letting leopards walk around on really damp paper towels for 13-30 minutes)
3. make sure the gecko hasnt been walking in CGD/baby food. iver heard that can get on their feet and hamper stickiness.

im sure some more experienced keepers will reply, but heres a start.

i forgot to mention that our crested wasnt very good at climbing when we first got her, buts she has no problems now. maybe at a young age, some the surface area of the toe pads is too small, or they are still learning how to stick/unstick their feet.

This can also be a sign the gecko is going through it's shed cycle.

the crested has shed since she got it and it still dose not climb to good. it will try to climb something and slide back down or fall off.

thanks
