Digging dragons w/ nothing to dig!

kephy Feb 24, 2004 10:39 PM

Both my adult and my baby beardie want to dig a lot, but they are on shelf liner.

I was thinking about making a little sand box for my adult, but is there anything I can do for the 2 month old? Everytime bedtime comes around he just digs and digs in the corner, but there's nothing to dig. I feel kinda bad for him. Really seems to me like they would both feel more comfortable if they could dig a little hole to sleep in at night, but the shelf-liner just doesn't allow for it.

you might want to try a bran box, they seem to really like them. just take a shoe box and fill it 1/3 to 1/4 full of plain bran. cut a hole in the side for a door and thats it. if they eat it it wont hurt them.
