Candy laid her eggs tonight. I was quite surprised with how soon after mating the eggs formed, and she laid them. I mated her to Foster on the 7th and today she laid a nice clutch of 23 eggs. 1 accidentally got slit open from her claws so I have 22 nice firm healthy looking eggs, and one tired girl. She laid actually after lights out for her, so she laid them got a nice warm bath and was sleeping in no time. I'm quite proud of my Candy girl and watched her through the whole process which was pretty neat. Now comes the waiting part for the babies Sorry the spot light really messed up the pictures I took of her but here is one, and all her eggs

Sounds like plenty to go around! Mine should only be a week or two behind you. Her belly is getting plump and tight. I'll be anxiously awaiting the first photos!

Disa also lays her eggs late at night (last time she laid eggs I had to stay up until 3.30 am! It will be interesting to see what time she will lay them this year!

I did not EGGSpect them so soon Now comes the waiting, and watching over those eggs, which your right is the most stressful time for me. She's doing great though which is what counts. A little loose in the tummy, but still has nice weight, and fat stores if another round of eggs comes my way. She drank up this morning, and snacked on a treat of super worms

Yeah sure was fast!! I really did not expect them for another week. She shelled those suckers and got them out in no time. Guess that full belly was a little uncomfortable for her

You are such the proud poppa! I'm glad that she didn't have any trouble laying the eggs and she can rest more comfortable now. I can't wait to see what the babies look like! They are going to be just as stunning as their parents! Congrats Mattman!

Awesome man.. congrats on the eggs! Pretty exciting stuff isn't it? Always nice to see such a long project take off and see the rewards. It's gonna be hard 2 months waiting but well worth it!
