what do you guys reccomend for leaky watering heads? they are the standard watering heads that everyone uses.. these are about a year old, and we have at least one flooder a week... any suggestions?

if you are talking about a watering system, are you using vanilla? if so, I had vanilla create some problems for me that resulted in flooding. If you need some more detail, ask me.

I had problems with vanilla once as well and will never use it again.
Another thing that will cause a leak is calcium build up in the valve. Take it apart, there is a stainless steel plunger that runs up the middle with a yellow plastic donut around it. Use the plunger to pick out a blue plastic disk in the bottom of the valve. Put the two brass halves and the stainless steel plunger in vinager for a few minutes and then rinse them. Don't soak the plastic parts but wipe them off and make sure they are clean.
Another possible cause is if your valve is set too close to the floor of the cage, the mice will stuff sawdust into it causing it to drip. I don't know why they do this (rats don't) but the only solution is to put the valve higher so they have to stand up a little to get to it.

well i ahve taken them apart and soaked them in vinagar, but i soaked all the parts, washers ect. and all.. maybe that is it.. also i soaked them for about 24-48 hours...
and never used vanilla on mine
