I know that you can use bed a beast in humid hides but i have seen pics of people housing their leo on it is this at all possible???? thanx for you're help

It is possible but you shouldn't do it because it would hold to much humidity, and you could have ingested substrate which isn't good.

I use 100% sphagnum peat moss. It is organic, retains moisture well, my geckos love it, and the nice thing is if they were to ingest any of it - it is in very small particles and it is digested by their system. I screen mine to remove any clumps or little sticks - and then i'm good to go. I have used it for the 3.5 years I have been a leo nut with zero problems. Good luck.
