Breeding Roaches

bast Feb 25, 2004 07:41 AM

Hello All,

I am looking for info about breeding roaches for feeders. I know that the cham people have the most experience with this. I'm looking for an easy to breed species that has little chance of escaping and infesting the building. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help,

Brian

Orange heads, Orange Spottd, Discoid, Death heads are good roaches that can't climb smooth surfaces.
They are slower breeders but no problems.
Lobsters are prolific breeders but can climb smooth surfaces.

Keep temps around 95f and feed and they will breed.
Keep humidity high (around 85%).
That's it..
