I recently acquired a trio of sub-adult Jungles.I am very experienced in he keeping of larger boids and have been doing my thing for about 15 years.I am not however experienced in the smaller boids.I have read a thousand different ideas on how individuals think their snake should be housed.Everything from 3' to 8' has been mentioned. Some say they need branches to climb others say it is unnecessary for any but juveniles.i am currently housing my smaller ones(under 3 foot) in these plastic tubs. They seem to be doin nicely with a cool spot of about 75 a hot spot of about 95 and an ambient temp. of mid 80's.Also humidity is an issue, some say 75% ,some say 50%, I have even heard some say they dont even monitor humidity in their jungles.Sorrry this is so long but I wanted to include as much info as possible.Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think it looks great. I think the most important issue is giving your snake choices. You have given a thermal gradient, and that is probably most important. I would also give choices on hide spots. Give a dry hide and a moist hide. just make sure they are secure for the snake (meaning the snake feels secure in the hides). That will cover humidity issues as well.
Good luck with them,

I appreciate your response.I was also curious if any one could tell me how accurate digital humidity guages are.I am currently measuring humidity in my enclosures between 45% and 60%.Humidity levels like this would seem to be sufficient (with misting during shedding). Im just not sure if the digital thing is accurate.
