WHAT SPECIES IGUANA

COOLHL7 Feb 25, 2004 12:55 PM

please excuse my ignorance but I am into snakes..
I was 70 north of Acapulco, mexico, about 500 feet elevation in a montane valley and saw an iguana on the ground about 4 ft including tail with the cleanest blue you could imagine on its body only. It ran into some rock ledges so no photos, sorry. I have seen plenty of iguanas but never anything this gorgeous, with the blue close to that of the tails of some small skinks!thanks,
