Candy last night!! Anna today. More eggs>>

Mattman Feb 25, 2004 01:14 PM

Gees I was hoping for Anna to breed maybe later in the season after Candy, but it looks like she did not wait to be mated She is laying all infertile eggs now as I post. I had a feeling but could not feel any at all in her. Think it's too late to breed her after her first infertile clutch????? Oh well here are a few pics anyway. she just dug right on the side so I can see the whole thing, not like candy and her hole. Oh well a little education.

Too late?
Just let her recover from this clutch and go ahead and give it a go.
Boy, does she ever look like my Daisy!!! I would think it was if i didn't know better..

Boy is she gonna have to recover. She's been laying for the last hour or longer, and is still going!!! So many infertile eggs oh well hopefully she'll rebound fast and put her weight back on. I had no idea she had these couldn't feel them at all. She always was large in the tummy, and these are fully shelled but softer. Glad I let her dig in the laying box today though that's for sure LOL.

Yeah, like Joel and Christy said.... just give her a couple weeks to regain some weight and strength and you can go ahead and breed her.... This time for FERTILE eggs lol

Bummer deal.

You can still mate her just give her a few weeks & pump her up with calories & calcium.

Also, congrats on Candy's eggs!!! Way to go.

Later.

Yeah, real bummer I missed Anna's first clutch. I really wanted her to mate later in the season so I would not have so many babies at once and space them out a bit, but I guess she was on another schedule. If she puts the weight back on, and is in good shape I might as well breed her before she lays more infertile eggs. Thanks for the complement on Candy and her eggs. I'm hoping she to rebounds and gives me another bunch of eggs Looking forward to your babies too if you decide to breed your dragons again this season. Good luck to you as well Joel.
