I am planning on purchasing a Blizzard or two this weekend and have a few questions I hope I can get answered...

Does breeding Blizzard with another Blizzard produce a Blizzard or a het for? Is it a normal-het for or an albino-het for?

Does breeding a Blizzard to a patternless produce a Banana Blizzard? What about albino with Blizzard or patternless? Or does it just create a normal looking het for all?

What is the average cost of a baby blizzard?

And lastly, Depending on costs, I will probably only get a juvenile or younger. HOW do I tell the difference between a juvenile Blizzard and a patternless juvenile? I have only seen adults of each.

I'm not very good with genetics, but I CAN tell you, patternless and blizzard babies are easy to tell apart. Patternless hatchlings have spots; http://www.dreamgecko.com/g-korona10.jpg (although not banded, like normal babies!)
And Blizzard hatchlings are born without any spots or markings.

Blizzard is a simple recessive trait. So if you breed a blizzard to a blizzard all babies will be blizzards, a blizzard to het 50% blizz 50% het, blizzard to normal all het

I am unsure of the genetics of banana Blizzards
If you breed a blizzard to an albino or patternless all babies will be hets for that trait. If you breed a doulbe het blizzard albino to another doulble het blizzard albino you have a chance of hatching blazzing blizzards which are red eyed albino blizzards.

banana blizzards are just a variation of the blizzard trait...breeding a banana with a normal bliz would give you blizzards...probably some with and some without yellow. All the other info given was correct...although the chance of actually getting blazing blizzards with albino/blizzard hets is EXTREMELY small.

thanks for the info on bananas. The thing is though if you have a big breeding group of doulbe hets (1.3-1.5) and hatched out numerous albino blizzards would you be able to tell if they were albino blizzards but not blazing blizzards?

I am a bit confused. I know the blazing blizzards are the white guys with red eyes. Are the albino blizzard just normal blizzards? or something I havent seen/heard of yet. I am slightly new to the fancy leos. I have only kept high yellows and normals.

Blazzing Blizzards are red eyed albino blizzards. If you breed a DH albino blizzard to another DH 1 out of 16 would be albino blizzards but if they weren't red eyed they wouldn't be blazzing blizzards.
