can anyone give me an idea of how big (girth wise) these guys get? I've never seen one as an adult and am just wondering.

On average I would say a little bigger around than a 20 oz. coke bottle. You can get them quite thick if you overfeed though. Also some dumerils are in the 7-8' range and consequently will be greater in girth. Hope that is something to give you a general idea. Take care!
