If a glass tank is used, I'd suggest nothing smaller than a 40 gallon "breeder" tank. Large sweater boxes also work well. These are only guidelines, though, as each bloodline reaches a different size and every individual has a different activity level. Use your judgement and provide as much space a possible to allow your captive a comfortable life.
