Kumquats, Loquats, Japenese Plums?

Hi all. We have a Japanese Plum tree in our yard & Forest really loves the fruit. It's also called a Loquat Tree...

Very closely related to a Kumquat.

Do any of you guys have any info as to rather they are good or bad for igs?

Couldn't find any info on them.
