Momma rat attacked me tonight!
Guess she was not happy about me stealing one of her babies.
Anyway this bite hurt like hell! Also scared the poop out of me!

Be sure to keep it clean and watch out for infection. I use to have a momma rat that would literaly jump at you if she had babies you wouldn't even have to try to steal them. Sorry about the bite. Good Luck.

I've had that happen a few times...I've learned to use tongs now....
I've never had that happen, but I'd change my pants if I were you!-LOL
Seriously though, in the future, I'd remove the mother first, then put her back when you are done stealing babies.

I fed her off as soon as the babies were weaned (although I had fed most of them off up to that time).
I have a rule for rodents.......Don't bite the hand that feeds you....and definitly don't bite the had that also feeds the snakes.......
and the next posted picture would be momma rat in a bag in my freezer....
Ouch sorry for the bite...Take Care
