What can I expect when breeding a Male Pastel Jungle Ball Python to a Female Albino Ball Python? Would I just get Pastels and normals or would they be Pastels het for Albino? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Keith

You would have pastel and 100%het. albino ball pythons. If you then take a brother and sister from this clutch and breed them back to each other you'll have superpastel albinos. Pastel is a co-dominant trait and albinoism is a recessive.
All the babies would be het albino; about half would also be pastel (the other half normal looking het albinos). You would need to breed two of the pastel together to get an albino super pastel (each egg would have a 1 in 16 chance). Not sure if it would look any different than a regular albino or not.
