i've been looking for months and cannot find any.
i need captive bred but only find imports.

You're not going to find captive bred pyxidea any time soon unless you know whom to ask. It my understanding that there have not been lots of cpative clutches.
With imports it seems like you'll be lucky to find any ones that live more than a year or so in captivity.
There are a number of people working with them but they do pretty poorly in captivity. But the problems are th usual ones with Asian imports: "worms", dehydration entomeba etc...
This species is a fairly typical semi-terrestrial from cool mountain streams. A good set up might be like one fro G insculpta. Seems like it doesn't swim as well. They seem not to be big baskers and don't like excessive heat.
Try the Asian turtles forum, its gets little traffic but some I knoew for a fact that several folks there have these.
