Housing JCPs together

I have two JCPs that I would like to house in the same cage. One is a female that is about 2 years old and is in the 3 foot rage. The other is a male that is a litle over a year old and about 2 feet in length. If I put them in the same cage is there a chance that the female will kill the male? thanx
