Swimming

just wondering my female beardie loves to swim so i am building a pond inside their cage for them to drink from and swim in does anyone elses beardies like swimming??

Sounds like a good idea, but have you considered how often the water will have to be changed. Mine love water, but it seems like every time they get in it they poop.

Having a pool inside your beardeds tank will raise the humidity level which can lead to a respiratory infection..
As Heartmountain said, most beardies poop in water, heat water will = bacteria.
It's really best just to give them swim time outside of their enclosure

i have them in a 6 1/2 ft by 9 ft enclosure does that make any diffrence??

Not to change the subject of this post, but wow, I wish I had the room to make an enclosure like that. Good work on it too, it looks great and gives them alot to do.

That's a beutiful enclosure, but it doesn't change that they would use the pool as a toilet. Unless you are willing to drain, disinfect, and refill the pool (alot of work) at least daily if not more, it's just not worth it IMO.
