I think it is easier to tell the sex by looking at the tail from the side than from the underside. Any chance of another picture from the side?

Usually, a male's tail has a slow taper and is more than half as thick halfway to the tail tip as at the base of the tail. And a female's tail has a fast taper and is less than half as thick halfway to the tail tip as at the base of the tail. When looked at from the side. Hope that helps.
