Anyone have any good tips for keeping a Sheflerra (sp?) healthy as can be?
I haven't had good luck with them in the past, but I like them a lot
and want to try again.
Also, what are some low-light plants that make good Chameleon furniture?

If you have to add light to the cage to keep plants alive it is probably a bit too dark for the cham too. You can easily put strip lights with "regular" fluorescent tubes or grow lights vertically along a cage side for general light and to help plants get less spindly.
Schefflera like to drain and dry out regularly. Make sure your pots drain well (put a layer of pea gravel in the pot bottom and make sure the holes aren't plugged), feed the plant at least once a month, don't put it too near the basking spot to avoid burns. I often keep 2 schefflera and rotate them in a bright window.
Hm. I have five Reptisun 5.0 bulbs across the top of my cage, and a 65w daylight bulb for basking, so I don't think it's a lack of light.
I may try lighting the sides like you suggested. Maybe if I can get more light down low it will do better. My Ficus Benjamina is as full and healthy as can be,
so my bad luck with Sheflerra may gave something to do with watering.
Thanks for the help.
