piglet Feb 26, 2004 11:34 AM

Sammy recently came out of hibernation, has been eatig good for a week and is ready to go now.I hope this is successful. It lasted all morning and was rather violent at times. When would a clutch be expected???My birthday maybe??April 25.This happened yesterday.Martha didn't have a long hibernation period. She had trouble getting to sleep.

last time I was able to observe a successful mating and the egg-laying, it seems it was about 4-5 weeks.

Just watch for the female to start going stir crazy, getting aggressive, and digging test holes if she is outside.

about her trial. Looks like Sammy is helping her to forget about it though.
