Info on Black Knight for mites...

NRI Feb 26, 2004 04:29 PM

I am looking for some info. on Black Knight, and want to know if anyone has used it on venomous snakes. Not knowing exactly what side effects Black Knight will have on my various collection of snakes, I want to do a little research before I spray my snakes. If anyone has used the product, please respond as I would like to have as much info. as possible. Please include all species,(size, age, etc.) that have been sprayed with the chemical, and any side effects that have occured whether temporary, long term, or permanent... Thanks for your time and appreciated replies...

I have used black knight on monocle cobras and gaboon vipers. The monocles were about 2' at the time and the gaboons were probably about the same length. My reptiles have never had any ill effects from black knight. This is a fantastic product for nipping a mite problem in the bud. I remove their water dish, spray the substrate and then spray the animals down without getting too much on the head region. This should effectively wipe out any mite problem.
