Heat rocks should not be used for any amphibian. The answer is deffinatly no. The rock would dry out the fire belly and kill him. Try an under tank heater or better yet just flouresent. these frogs do not need to be extremly warm. from what i recall they are from mountain streams in china, so i think a flouresent light would be you best bet.

I'm not angry at you or anything, but this is my view on heat rocks...

HOT ROCKS ARE GOOD FOR:

#1 Frogs legs

#2 turtle soup

Undertank is the best means of a heat source for small animals and large animals alike
