I am reading on here everyone's albon treatment time, and it is a lot different than what the vet told me. I am wondering if my vet knew what she was talking about. She told me to give my two month old Puff the Albon once a day for five days (A drop) and then every other day for SIX weeks. Do you think this is too long? Perhaps I should take his fecal matter back..or I mean to another vet..after just two weeks of treatment?

she may be following or interperting a method that is often used to treat high resistant coccidia and on that it is adviced to continue as long as needed on the alternating days til clear fecals.
