i am 13 years old, and i know one person who is interested in herps but i dont really like him because of te way he treats his animals. He thought he could keep a water dragon in a 10 gallon aquarium. And by the way how old are you? what show did you pick up your blizzard at?

monday was my bday, so i just turned 20. ive been keeping herps since b4 i can remember, my father kept snakes. but i really got into keeping my own when i was about 12. i got the little dude at the show in Pottstown PA. like i said the guy was getting rid of all his animals, so i was like r u sure 25, and he was like i can rase the price if ud like and i just said no thats aright and i bought him.

it don't matter it is depands on parents some of them hate to take care of them or help his child to get what they need. All I care that they are learing . I understand some parent don't want get food for animals. It makes me sick, when I see herp that are skinny.

I only have 2 herps right now, but i hope on getting a blue tegu for my birthday/christmas present. Then i gotta save to buy some more leos/BPs. It is such a pain not having money. Can't wait till i get a job, then i will have lots of herps

I'm also 20! When is there a show in Pottstown, PA???? My aunt lives VERY near there...I could possibly go a show there some time...provided I'm home...lol

I just read through the string of posts and being 27 i do feel very old LOL....three more years until i hit 30 and no husband or kids yet.......YIKES!!! I spend way to much time hiding with my geckos...i need to get out and meet people HAHAHAHAHA.

I commend all of the youngins out there who enjoy herps and take the time and make the effort to care for them properly. Its nice seeing a younger generation of people who care about them.
