Tortoise Passed away looking for Baby Sulcata

GSViall Feb 09, 2003 06:44 PM

After four wonderful years our Tortoise Joshua passed away. He was undersized due to some issues with his lower shell growing over his tail opening, he had been operated on but never grew that much.

He was active in his bath last evening and was OK this AM but this afternoon we saw that he was in trouble and passed.

We are very interested in obtaining a new hatchling. Any ideas where we could would be appreciated. We live in WA near Seattle. Reach us at GSViall@yahoo.com.

Thanks

Richard Fife at Riparian Farms http://www.ivorytortoise.com/ has some baby sulcatas now. He is a very reputable breeder from people I spoke with. I just bought 2 leopard torts from him and they are gorgeous.
