Adult Red Tegu Shipping?

shane27 Feb 26, 2004 08:06 PM

I have this Red Tegu that is close to two feet not including tail length.
I am going to put him up for sale in the classifieds BUT, want to make sure I can ship him safely first?
Can someone give me an idea or let me know if it is possible?

Thanks
Shane

If there is one thing that I have learned is that nothing is ever 100% safe with any of the shipping couriers. I have personally had a very bad experience shipping tegus, twice no actually with two different companies. Unfortunately, it is hit or miss with the couriers now days. The employees don't care about package handling and carelessness on their parts leads to lost packages a lot. I own a herp business and bad shipping issues are plentiful and pathetic. Sorry if you were looking for someone to say that is safe to ship. Won't be me.

the safest and best way for an animal that size is Delta Dash. You take it to the airport and the reciever goes and picks it up. Same day shipping for about $75.
