Head bobbing

Some times when I reach my hand into the Jacksons cage his head bobs, does this mean that I scared him??

Head bobbing is typically a threat toward a rival or a come-on to a female.

They usually do it as a territorial thing...basically: "you're invading my space!"

Iguanas, Basilisks, Water dragons, Bearded Dragons...etc all do the head bob.
