Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't already know this...

I was just playing around on the internet when I came across this picture:

I thought I'd just let anyone know that already doesn't...it is a bad idea to let your chameleon crawl on flat surfaces...I've seen cases where in between the "hands" it has split. It's very hard to heal the wound too.

Anyway...that's it...

Hi Chris,

They just aren't built that way. I had Luan out to weigh her one day and I knew better but just wanted to put her down! Their feet are built to clasp/grasp, not "walk" like mammals and some other lizards.

this is a good reminder for anyone who does not know

thanks,
lele

I did NOT know that but now that I do it makes sense. Another good reason for frequenting this forum. Thanks for the "heads up".
