Looking for a rescue

huricanmj Feb 27, 2004 10:16 AM

I live it Utah and am looking to help with the rescues. I have called the reptile rescue people in this state but have had no response. I am eager to help if I am needed and was wondering if anyone on this forum knows how I can begin the process of taking rescues. I normally post on the burm forum and am fond of these gentle giants. I haven't owned a boa in about 10 years, and am looking to get back into it. Thanx for any help.

Marco

you can also go to the 'adoption' pages on the classifieds and sign up with different adoption agencies that way. Some do a short screening process.

contact local humane societies or animal shelters as well as pet stores to let them know you're willing to do rescue work for snakes. Once you get lined up, I'm sure you'll find more than enough animals to keep you busy.

... in the "Rescue discussion" forum. I explained in detail how to go about starting a rescue. Hopefully that will help!
